Pen Name (intro)

Pen name... Pen name... Well order to talk about my pen name I guess you need a little background.  Lewis Carroll was a fantastic writer, I'm sure everyone knows his famous stories, "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking glass." Well Lewis Carroll is in fact a pen name, a pen name for a glorious man named Charles Dodgson. Long story short everyone has a pen name, even famous writers. Well my pen name is Alice Liddell because this little girl was Charles whole inspiration for Alice in Wonderland, A small short story that he made up on a boat to entertain a little girl, Alice, and her three sisters. Little did he know actually writing down this story that it would be a huge success. I think this should be a lesson to all of us. To be a good writer you don't have to go to lots of school and you don't have to sit down and write for a deadline. To be a good writer you need inspiration and creativity. Well Alice in Wonderland (or Alice Liddell) is my inspiration. Its my life inspiration. It teaches me to get lost in my own world of nonsense and not care what other people think.

Sincerely,
Alice Liddell
